FIOTW: EFFY STONEM

Effy Stonem (Played by Kaya Scodelario)  is a character from the british T.V show Skins. This girl has without a doubt impacted my style. Every time i go shopping i think 'What would Effy wear?". Her style is rebellious and reviling, but somehow she makes it work.

This is probably my absolute FAVORITE Effy look!

I really love this blazer. One of my favorite pieces of Effy's wardrobe.

Her style is obviously hard to pull off. I can't even wear half of her outfits to school. But hey, that's what modification and individuation is for.

COCHELLA 2012: DENIM AND BOOTS GLORE

Hey guys :D today our focus will be on the Coachella fashion scene! Coachella happened about a month ago and i see it as one of the best places to see what  will be in this summer. Here are some of the ensembles we saw this year:

Great right? Now lets review the trends!

1. Denim- From vests to jackets to the classic denim cutoffs! Denim is IN this year without a doubt! 
2. Boots- Giving a boho look when paired up with dresses and shorts. Giving a girly look an edgy flare. I NEED a pair of these suckers!
3. Midriffs- Time to show that tummy.
4. Fringe- I thought this trend was long gone but i'm guessing its back! I wasn't a big fan of this trend when it first came back around in '09, but now i'm kind of digging it.
5. Color Blocking- I would LOVE to rock this trend but i've tried and failed so many times!

I really wanted to see some specific trends such as lace, leather shorts, and high-low dresses but lets wait and see if they're going to appear sometime soon!
